Patchy Frost Possible, Thursday Morning
An unseasonably chilly weather pattern is setting in for the Tennessee Valley through the middle of the week. The sky will clear tonight and as it does it will allow temperatures to fall to near 40 by morning. Even with abundant sunshine, it will be quite chilly on Wednesday with afternoon highs only near 65.
Wednesday night and Thursday morning will be our coldest mornings in several weeks with lows dropping back into the 30s in many locations. With a clear sky, light wind and recent rainfall, patchy frost will be possible, especially in sheltered valleys.
It will begin to turn warmer as we head through the weekend. The humidity will also be increasing. By Sunday afternoon and evening, a few isolated pop-up storms will become possible and that trend will continue into next week.
