Clipper this Weekend Brings More Snow, Watching Possible BIG Storm Next Week

Not a lot of change from yesterday’s post. Pattern to remain very active and cold from the Rockies East through the next 10 days and it looks like things may even remain on through Christmas.

As discussed yesterday, a Clipper system is still forecast to track across the Upper Midwest today into early Saturday and across the Great Lakes on Saturday. By Sunday, the Clipper will track through southeastern Canada and New England. An area of snow will accompany the Clipper as it proceeds south and east. Generally, accumulations will be light, in the 1”-3” range. Some higher amounts of up to 6” will be possible across NW ND/NE MT, western MI and SW NY/NW PA through Sunday morning.

Also, as mentioned yesterday, still watching a strong storm system for next week. As of now, I am not making any changes to the forecast track and the accompanying precipitation and snow. System is still 3 to 5 days out, so questions on specifics continue. I will keep close tabs on this event and provide updates right here so please check back often.
